Hormone Health Small Group
Medical Program (Colorado)
This three‑visit group medical program is designed for women in (peri)menopause who want thorough education and evidence‑based guidance, are interested in exploring hormone therapy and other treatment options, value a supportive community of women who “get it,” and want more time and deeper explanation than a typical rushed visit provides.
The program includes three visits over three months. Each visit is two hours; scheduled in advance so you can plan around them. Cohorts are kept small (no more than ten women) to allow space for questions, discussion, and appropriate 1:1 time.
Group medical visits are an established model in healthcare and have been associated with higher satisfaction, deeper understanding, and, in many cases, improved outcomes compared with standard one‑on‑one visits. Many women find the combination of structured education, shared learning, and peer support more comforting and empowering than traditional visits alone.

Visit 1
Foundations and Assessment
The first visit focuses on information and education around (peri)menopause, and how shifts in estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, and DHEA can affect sleep, mood, weight, libido, cognition, energy, and overall vitality. Women also receive an overview of hormonal and non‑hormonal treatment options, including lifestyle and nutrition considerations. Individual physical exams are completed in private, labs are ordered, and breast screening needs are reviewed.

Visit 2
Personalized Plan and Treatment Options
Lab results are reviewed and interpreted, with discussion of optimal vs normal ranges and how results relate to symptoms and goals. A treatment plan is developed based on labs, symptoms, and clinical presentation, which may include hormone therapy when appropriate, with a review of delivery methods (such as patches, oral, topical, or vaginal options) alongside additional non‑hormonal strategies in lifestyle, nutrition, and supplements. A safety monitoring and follow‑up plan is also established.

Visit 3
Fine‑Tuning and Long‑Term Strategy
Response to treatment is reviewed, dosing or strategies are adjusted as needed, and common early concerns (such as sleep changes, mood shifts, spotting, bloating, breast tenderness, changes in energy or libido) are addressed. There is space for ongoing education guided by group questions, and women receive long‑term guidance on monitoring and sustaining their health, often benefiting from shared learning and deeper body awareness.
